Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Linux System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems administration, along with expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools. The role will involve managing and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines for different Products, and automating routine tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux servers and systems in a production environment.
- Install, configure, and optimize system components and software.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment and testing.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for system administration tasks.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve workflow efficiency.
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and security audits.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Linux systems administration, CI/CD, and automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems (e.g., Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl). - Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
